Blackpool Council Volunteers Team
Are you reliable and enthusiastic as well as patient, understanding and friendly?
Are you approachable and do you have a genuine desire to help others?
If so, help us support members of the public visiting Blackpool Centre for Independent Living (BCIL) and the Phoenix Centre, and offering general support to staff who are based there.
We ask you to give at least two hours a week at a regular mutually convenient time. In return, you will be given the training required to help you to fulfill the role and further development opportunities can be provided to meet personal needs.
Volunteers also receive ongoing support and build friendships at monthly meetings and social activities. Out of pocket expenses will be covered. Blackpool residents only.
