Volunteer Kitchen Assistant
Friends of Billington Lodge and Grange Park
We are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly Kitchen Assistant to join our team. We provide hot, nutritious meals to community members and need your help to make a difference!
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assisting with the preparation of ingredients (chopping, washing, peeling).
- Supporting our kitchen lead during busy lunch services.
- Keeping the kitchen sparkling clean, washing dishes, and clearing work surfaces.
- Stock rotation and ensuring a safe, tidy environment.

- A passion for cooking and helping others.
- Reliability and a friendly, approachable attitude.
- Ability to work well in a busy team.
- No professional experience is required—a willingness to learn is enough!.
