Unit Youth Lead

St John Ambulance Youth

No one should die because they needed first aid and didn’t get it. St John Ambulance (SJA) teaches people first aid so they can be the difference between life and death, and you can help us do this.

This will involve supporting young people alongside other youth leaders, youth support leaders and others. You will also take on responsibility for leading your youth section (either Cadets or Badgers) within a St John Network. As a Unit Youth Lead you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the adult volunteers within your youth unit to ensure the delivery and provision of a quality, fun and engaging youth programme in a safe and inclusive environment.

  • A commitment to our Youth Voice principles (Support, Empower, Inspire) and supporting our young people to become future leaders. Required
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team and to communicate well with other adults and young people. Required
