CHAT line volunteer

To provide a listening ear and emotional support to a carer.

· Call a Carer allocated to you at an agreed time each week on our CHAT line.

· Offer emotional and/or peer support to a carer

· Work within the organisation’s policy on confidentiality and safeguarding

What skills do I need?

Willingness to listen to carers in a non-judgemental way and provide emotional support.

Experience as an unpaid carer is desirable but not essential
