Friends of Devonshire Road Rock Gardens

Friends of Devonshire Road Rock Gardens is all about bringing people together to care for and improve our local green spaces in Blackpool. There are lots of ways to get involved, whether you enjoy being outdoors, meeting new people, or learning something new. You could help look after habitats like woodlands, grasslands and ponds, do some gardening such as planting and weeding, or support with general site upkeep. If you enjoy working with people, you can also help at community events, from setting up and running activities to welcoming visitors. There are opportunities to get involved in wildlife surveys too, helping to spot and record different plants and animals, as well as flexible litter picking to help keep the area clean and tidy. Whatever your interests or experience, volunteering is a great way to make a positive difference, learn new skills, and be part of a friendly community.

When do I need to be available?

Details

We normally meet at around 10/10:30am and work till about 2pm. We all do different roles as we enjoy different tasks but still come together for some parts and do have a brew together.
